Personal
For one person and all their devices
Price announced at launch
- Files, Sheets, Photos and Notes
- Sidekick, with you in charge of what it reads
- All your devices, counted as one person
- Storage sized for real life
We have no ads and no data business to subsidise the price, and by design we can't read what you store. The subscription pays for the service itself. Here is how it will work. Prices are announced at launch, and the waitlist hears first.
We don't show ads, sell data or train anything on your files. Subscriptions will be our only income, so the price covers the service itself.
Most people keep well under a terabyte. We're sizing plans so you don't pay for space you'll never fill.
If a payment fails, you can still read and edit everything on your devices. Only new uploads pause until it's sorted.

For a household, paid per person
Price per person announced with family plans
Family plans follow shortly after launch. Plans for teams and organisations come later.
We don't earn from what you store, and by design we can't read it, so the subscription has to pay for storage, sync and the people who look after it.
We haven't decided yet. Whatever we choose, people on the waitlist will hear about it first.
Payments run through Polar, which acts as the merchant of record: the seller named on your invoice. They handle VAT and invoices, and your card details go to them, never to us.
You'll be able to export your files, sheets, photos and notes in formats other apps can read, then cancel. There's no exit fee, and your work stays readable on your devices.
Leave your email and we'll write when Pastel Cloud opens to its first members. Early places go to people who care about owning their work, and we'll let them in a few at a time.
